the photo of the landscape makes me feel like I am diving into a mysterious old world. But there is the bird who is singing a song for today. What is he singing? It makes me curious.

Lovely photos - they seem so other-worldly.

This series of images are a poem. Very, very beautiful work x

from every picture there is something missing. So it is actually the waiting, I feel the impatience. What is going to follow? When?

ps. New government for Greece from today. Same questions. Lack of impatience though, still, some inner hope for improvement.

ps. I look at your pictures, I do not understand them, still, I follow the syllable.

Finn kirjoitti...

the syllable step. Oh, I think there is some kind of communication far beyond my written language. A story. A rythme.

And I also think that this once there is not a sound.
So, when the slightest happens, the sound will be enormous.
This increases the impatience.

always tender, tender heart and eye.

a story about a transformation, a life affected by living here on a political earth?

Finn kirjoitti...

So, as Lumilyon noticed, this is a poem.

Whereas a writer builds on an experience (brick by brick). A poet can introduce a gap.
Seferis said once about the importance of the empty lines inside the poem. Poets work on their punctuation, the increase and lack of marks. The half ended word or sentence.

So, this is a path.

I still do not understand it, But I
think I recognise the structure. The architecture and shadow.

I'm waiting for the paper bird to pick me up so we can fly into your photo landscapes. xo

hello all you out there,
these photos are from my calendar/ diary.
love the texture of old stuff.
it seems to have something to tell, don´t you think?
it makes me curious too.- thank you for noticing.

and finn,
yes,
the rhythm,
yes,
the story,
yes,
the importance of the emptiness between the lines!
you make me so happy, you should see my face!
the most important and interesting thing for me is the empty space between the lines. in all levels.
i don´t know how you do this!?!
but it makes me so happy.

please, take a look- something you already have seen- 18.8.09 my post "again", the first photo, and if you want, much earlier 8.7.2008 "värinä, värinä" from my exhibition where i had 33 of them on the wall. all about the emptiness between the lines. - i´m not sure anybody noticed that then...so, you see, i´m touched now :)

lumilyon,
thank you for seeing a poem!

mansuetude,
yes,
about transformation too!

The top postcard/photo is particularly beautiful to me.

Finn kirjoitti...

dear Ritva,
welcome.
I saw the photos which I hadn't seen before because of the problem I later on solved.
What a surprise for me to know that my response to your pictures is actually not very far from what you. Even at the first time I visited you, I felt something like a relief.
I don't know how you do this! You transform things into light and shade- with such a delicacy that, I think, you must be three meters tall, enormously strong, with all the white wisdom in your heart and mind, with four magical hands and eyes!
You give me hope and hope for art.

Ritva kirjoitti...

dear finn,
i don´t know how to put this,
but first i laughed then i cried.
relief like a bus you didn´t catch and then you realize that you didn´even want to leave in the first place.
do i make any sense?
